Anger Management Classes for Nurses and other Health Professionals

Nurses and other health professionals are frustrated, stressed out and angry. There are many justifiable reasons for this anger. There is now and has been for many years an international shortage of trained nurses.

Consequently, nurses and other health professionals, under appreciated, treated unfairly and frequently burned out. All of these situations can result in feelings of anger and hurt.

Anger on the part of all health professionals is mostly justifiable. However, justifiable on not, anger is destructive when it is too intense, too prolonged, is harmful to ourselves or others, occurs too frequently, destroys work or personal relationships or leads to person or property directed aggression. Destructive anger needs to be assessed by trained, certified anger management providers and remediated.

Anger Management Institute of Texas offer anger management assessment and classes, as well as one-on-one executive coaching at its office at 2200 Southwest Freeway, Ste. 420, Houston, Texas 77098. All participants receive a computerized anger management assessment which identifies areas of weaknesses as well assets. The four components of the Anderson & Anderson Curriculum are anger, stress, assertive communication and emotional intelligence.
